Pathway Overview

This advanced pathway is designed for creative arts educators seeking professional recognition and mastery in teaching practice. It equips students with the skills, credibility and professional insight required to lead and inspire in dance and performing arts education.

  • Creative artists aged 18+ who have completed Level 4 qualifications or equivalent and want recognition for professional mastery in their craft.

  • Intensive, vocational training in:

    • Acting

    • Singing

    • Ballet

    • Jazz

    • Tap

    • Hip Hop

    • Commercial

    • Musical Theatre

    • Pas de Deux

    • and essential performance skills.

  • Professional Teaching Practice

    Advanced training focused on planning, delivering, and evaluating education within performing arts, alongside strategies for mentorship, leadership and industry engagement.

    Students complete the RSL Level 6 Professional Teaching Diploma, validating high-level teaching expertise, supporting professional progression, and enhancing credibility within the creative arts sector.

  • Training Fees

    Our training fees for our full-time courses are priced at £7,500/per year. When accepting an offer to Platinum Academy, we will also require a non-refundable payment of £270 to cover the Qualification Cost - this also secures your place.

    Funding and scholarships

    Platinum Academy is an independent performing arts academy and recognise the lack of funding options available. We aim to bring together performers of all backgrounds, despite their financial circumstances. Scholarships awards are limited and are offered at the discretion of the audition panel and Senior Leadership Team. Scholarship awards can also vary in value.
