This intensive higher level pathway offers industry standard training at an advanced stage, with two specialist routes: Performance or Teaching. Designed for those seeking to refine mastery and elevate professional credibility, the programme prepares students to progress confidently into either professional performance careers or leadership within performing arts education.

  • Creative artists aged 18+ who have completed Level 4 qualifications or equivalent and want recognition for professional mastery in their craft.

  • Intensive, vocational training in:

    • Acting

    • Singing

    • Ballet

    • Jazz

    • Tap

    • Hip Hop

    • Commercial

    • Musical Theatre

    • Contemporary

    • Performance skills

  • Performance Route – Professional Mastery

    Students complete the Level 6 Professional Performance Diploma, an advanced qualification validating artistic excellence and professional level performance skills. This route supports progression into high level employment, freelance performance careers or further specialist training.

    Teaching Route – Professional Teaching Practice

    Students complete the Level 6 Professional Teaching Diploma, developing advanced skills in planning, delivering and evaluating performing arts education. This qualification validates high level teaching expertise and supports progression into professional education, leadership and mentoring roles.

  • Performance route - graduates are equipped to pursue:

    • high-level performance careers

    • further study at postgraduate or conservatoire level

    Teaching route - graduates can progress into:

    • Specialist teaching positions in schools, colleges, and community settings

    • Further study, research, or professional development within education

  • Training Fees

    Our training fees for our full-time courses are priced at £7,500/per year. When accepting an offer to Platinum Academy, we will also require a non-refundable payment of £270 to cover the Qualification Cost - this also secures your place.

    Funding and scholarships

    Platinum Academy is an independent performing arts academy and recognise the lack of funding options available. We aim to bring together performers of all backgrounds, despite their financial circumstances. Scholarships awards are limited and are offered at the discretion of the audition panel and Senior Leadership Team. Scholarship awards can also vary in value.
