Scarlette Douglas is an accomplished TV presenter, host, and performer whose career spans musical theatre, prime-time television, live events, and property-focused formats. After eight years performing in major West End productions in the UK and across the globe, Scarlette transitioned into broadcasting, quickly establishing herself as a trusted and dynamic on-screen talent.

She landed her first presenting role in 2015 on Channel 4’s flagship daytime programme A Place in the Sun, where she spent six and a half years fronting the show and becoming one of its most recognisable faces. Scarlette has since presented and co-presented a wide range of major series and specials including Holiday Secrets… Is Last Minute Best?, My Dream Derelict Home in the Sun, and Channel 4’s, Can’t Sell Must Sell and Love It or List It Black to Front episode.

Alongside her brother Stuart, Scarlette has also become a leading voice in property entertainment, co-hosting hit shows such as Worst House on the Street, Property Unlocked podcast, and the competitive Channel 4 series Flipping Fast with George Clarke.

In 2022, Scarlette was chosen to take part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, capturing the hearts of millions and cementing her status as one of the UK’s most vibrant and relatable media personalities. She has fronted high-profile charity projects including Soccer Aid for UNICEF, Celebrity Great British Bake Off and Celebrity Hunted, both for Stand Up To Cancer.

Today, Scarlette is one of TV’s most respected property and lifestyle experts, appearing regularly on major British programmes such as Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, and BBC One’s The One Show. With an expanding presence in the US market, she continues to develop original TV formats, travel content and fresh on-screen concepts.

In her role as Director of Industry Engagement at Platinum Performing Arts, Scarlette brings her extensive entertainment experience, industry network and passion for talent development directly to the next generation. She oversees external partnerships, curates performance and industry-led workshops, supports students in understanding the realities of the entertainment world and ensures the academy maintains professional standards that reflect current industry expectations.
