Natalie Gee

Marketing & Academy Photographer

Photographer Natalie Gee began her creative journey after moving to London to get closer to the arts and punk rock scene that colours the city. Exploring portrait and landscape photography, she knew London was where she truly belonged.

She studied photography and videography at City and Islington college, and has gone on to read a Bachelor degree in Business management that is teaching her about creative campaigns, branding and social media management.

This led her to design national marketing campaigns for West End productions such as: Amelie The Musical, The Permanent Way, Madagascar the Musical, to name a few. She has also photographed celebrities such as Anthony Daniels (Star Wars), Sir Derek Jacobi, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, amongst many others.

2017 was a big year for Natalie, she founded the uplifting Edmonton Green Magazine, a journal that allows her to carry out one of her greatest passions; promoting community news, local people and local businesses.

After meeting with Nina Hart-Lewis, founder of Platinum Performing Arts, and delivering a speech together to three hundred female students at Southgate school, for International Women’s day, Natalie and Nina continued their working relationship. Natalie has been invited to undertake the Head of Marketing role at Platinum Performing Arts Academy.

She will also be teaching two courses at the academy: Stage Photography and Self- Promotion.  Students will learn what photography is, the way light can impact a set, and good practices in theatre. Students will also learn how to promote themselves as professional artists through branding, collaborations and social media.
